A distinctive fleur-de-lis-style device appears near the upper margin.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eThe survey is fully signed by \u003cstrong\u003eJohn Shepard Jr.\u003c\/strong\u003e The reverse identifies \u003cstrong\u003eJohn Wallace and James Dickson\u003c\/strong\u003e as chain bearers—the assistants who carried the measuring chain during the original field survey.
