Its remarkably dense engraving identifies fortified cities, villages, roads, rivers, forests, political boundaries, and noble territories across Luxembourg and adjoining regions of Belgium, France, Germany, and the Netherlands.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAmong the principal places shown are Luxembourg, Namur, Liège, Trier, Metz, Verdun, Sedan, Charleville, Dinant, and Montmédy. Towns and territorial borders are enhanced with attractive early hand coloring.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe lower-left corner contains a dramatic martial cartouche incorporating the arms of Luxembourg, military standards, armor, weapons, and figures.
